Frequently Asked Questions
If you have questions that are not covered in our FAQ, please post them in an appropriate forum.
|Question||Why not include links to the National Servicemen's Association of Australia and the various State organisations?|
|Answer||Action has already commenced in this regard. We have links to many and varied organisations relative to our site. See "Links" for the full list.
To have a formal link shown on another website, allowing people to link direct to our website, the webmaster of that website needs to be contacted to set it up.
If you wish to have such a formal arrangement set up, please send the details of the webmaster/administrator of the other website to our administrator at email@example.com .
|Question||How do I get a news item published?|
|Answer||Send and email with the news content to the administrator at firstname.lastname@example.org and he will edit, if necessary, and upload onto the website. If more information is required, he will make contact.|
|Question||How do I get photos onto the website?|
|Answer||You can upload them direct to a Gallery if it exists. If you have photos for a new Gallery, please contact the administrator on email@example.com so a new Gallery can be created. Alternatively, you can email photos to the administrator or send a disc of photos if there is a large number.|
|Question||How do I get a link up on the website?|
|Answer||Send an email to the administrator on firstname.lastname@example.org with the link details and he will insert the link.|
|Question||Why does everything have to go through the administrator?|
|Answer||The way the website is formatted by the web host, the administrator must validate all new material that goes for public display on the website. This provides a measure of quality control and integrity for the website. The administrator will exercise due diligence and judgement in validating all material for display on the website. If anyone is in any way offended by a news item, link or photo, please contact the administrator on email@example.com so the appropriate action can be taken.|
